I love it, love it, love it. Thank you for all the work you’ve put into your messages especially this past week. I wish more people knew the old timey real Sarasota – but time goes on. I lived here for a few months in 1951 and then moved to Tampa but back in Sarasota since 1968. I’ve seen a lot of changes in 52 years. In 1968 we lived in the City and had shell streets; Fruitville and Bee Ridge were 2 lane roads and Pinecraft was out in the sticks. I love Jeff LaHurd’s essays on Sarasota history as well. It’s all beautiful. Have a blessed Christmas! Marie Rowe 🎄 🎁 🎅

Merry Christmas to you as well, Marie! We’re all works in progress, aren’t we, just like our community. And YOU make our progress pretty!
