We’re received some great donations so far for the November 17 event: a trifecta of sales, headlined by the Designer Tag Sale with back-up by the Olde Bookseller Sale and the Back Porch Bonanza of Bargains! It’s going to be a great sale, so

First up, Ringling Hotel china from a Historical Society member, who received it from a friend who was the caretaker of the hotel before it was razed.

More goodies: an antique rocking chair, designer throw pillows, gorgeous table linens and salt-glazed crocks. Decorator wreaths, holiday decor and jewel-toned area rug. Wonderful jewelry and purse accessories. A nice selection of history books, about Sarasota and beyond. An asparagus server. Cocktail napkins. Teapots and framed artwork and some very nice handbags and pillow covers and art supplies and oh my!

So clear out your clutter. Drop off at the Historical Society any Mon-Fri 10 to 2 or, if needed, call or email the three chairpeople for pickup. Here’s the info!
